Scottish Taxi is a private sightseeing service based in Edinburgh. We meet you at the airport, show you the country at your own pace, and take you back when it is time to fly home.
What we do
We run private tours of Scotland by car — never a coach, never a group of strangers. Four fixed programmes cover Edinburgh, Stirling and Queensferry, and anything else is priced on request. The car, the driver and the day belong to you and the people you are travelling with.
The driver
Your driver knows Scotland's main attractions and the quieter corners that rarely make a guidebook: which side of Edinburgh Castle catches the light, when the Royal Mile is worth walking, where to stand at the Kelpies. We work in English, French and Arabic.
How the day works
There is no fixed schedule to keep up with. Stop for photographs, linger over lunch, skip what does not appeal. The programmes below are a shape for the day, not a timetable, and the pace is set by you.
One clear price
The price of a programme covers the car, the driver and the fuel for the whole day. It is per booking, not per person, so a family of four pays what a couple pays. Booking any programme also includes a free transfer to and from Edinburgh Airport.
